Shipping policy

This Shipping Policy applies to orders placed through lacausa.com.

Order Processing

Orders are generally processed within one to three business days.

Orders placed before 12:00 p.m. Pacific Time may ship the same business day, but same-day shipment is not guaranteed.

Orders are not normally processed or shipped on Saturdays, Sundays, or United States holidays.

Processing times may be longer during:

  • Product launches
  • Promotions
  • Warehouse sales
  • Holiday periods
  • Severe weather
  • Periods of unusually high order volume
  • Inventory or fulfillment interruptions

Processing time is separate from carrier transit time.

Domestic Shipping

We offer free standard shipping to addresses within the 50 United States on eligible orders with a merchandise subtotal of $150 or more.

The free-shipping threshold is calculated after discounts and before taxes and shipping charges.

Orders below the free-shipping threshold will be charged the shipping rate displayed during checkout.

Expedited shipping, when available, is charged at the rate displayed during checkout.

Free domestic shipping does not apply to international orders.

Delivery Estimates

Available shipping methods and estimated delivery times are displayed during checkout.

Delivery estimates begin after the order has been processed and transferred to the carrier.

Delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed.

Delivery may be affected by:

  • Carrier delays
  • Severe weather
  • Natural disasters
  • Holidays
  • Incorrect or incomplete addresses
  • Customs processing
  • Transportation disruptions
  • Labor disruptions
  • Government actions
  • Other circumstances outside our reasonable control

Federal rules generally require sellers to have a reasonable basis for represented shipment timing and to offer a delay option or refund when the promised shipment time cannot be met.

Shipping Addresses

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.

Contact us immediately at hello@lacausa.com if you discover an address error.

We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after an order has been submitted.

LACAUSA LLC is not responsible for delays, losses, or additional costs caused by an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer.

Orders returned because of an address error may be subject to additional shipping costs before being resent.

Tracking Information

When tracking is available, a shipment-confirmation email will be sent after the order has been transferred to the carrier.

Tracking information may take time to update after the carrier receives the package.

A tracking number does not guarantee a specific delivery date.

Multiple Shipments

An order may be divided into multiple shipments.

If an order is shipped in multiple packages, you may receive separate shipping-confirmation emails and tracking numbers.

You will not be charged additional shipping solely because we divided an order into multiple shipments.

Lost or Missing Packages

If a package appears to be delayed or missing, contact the carrier using the tracking information provided.

Please include your order number and tracking number.

We will assist with available carrier information and any applicable claim process.

Packages Marked Delivered

If tracking shows that a package was delivered but you cannot locate it:

  1. Check the delivery location and surrounding area.
  2. Check with household members, neighbors, a front desk, mailroom, or building manager.
  3. Check any parcel locker or alternate delivery location.
  4. Allow up to 48 hours, as some carriers may mark packages delivered before final placement.
  5. Contact the shipping carrier.
  6. Contact us at hello@lacausa.com.

LACAUSA LLC is not automatically responsible for packages lost or stolen after confirmed delivery, but we will review the available information and assist where reasonably possible.

Damaged Shipments

If your package or merchandise arrives damaged, contact us promptly at:

Include:

  • Your order number
  • Photographs of the damaged item
  • Photographs of the shipping box
  • Photographs of the shipping label
  • Photographs of the internal packaging

Keep the merchandise and all packaging until we complete our review.

International Shipping

International shipping availability, rates, and estimated delivery options are displayed during checkout.

International delivery may take longer because of:

  • Customs processing
  • Local import procedures
  • Carrier delays
  • Government inspections
  • Local holidays
  • Payment of duties or taxes

Free shipping is not available for international orders unless expressly stated in a promotion.

International Duties and Taxes

Duties, taxes, tariffs, brokerage fees, and other import charges may be calculated and collected during checkout.

When these charges are not collected during checkout, the recipient is responsible for paying them upon or before delivery.

Import requirements and charges are determined by the destination country and are outside our control.

LACAUSA LLC cannot guarantee the amount of duties, taxes, tariffs, or brokerage charges.

Refused or Unclaimed International Shipments

If an international shipment is refused, unclaimed, or returned because the recipient did not pay required duties, taxes, or other fees, any refund may be reduced by:

  • Original shipping costs
  • Return shipping costs
  • Duties
  • Taxes
  • Tariffs
  • Brokerage fees
  • Other charges assessed to LACAUSA LLC

Any deduction will be made only to the extent permitted by law.

International Shipping Restrictions

We may be unable to ship to certain:

  • Countries
  • Territories
  • Military addresses
  • Freight-forwarding services
  • Parcel-forwarding services
  • Hotels
  • Temporary accommodations

Available destinations and methods will be displayed during checkout.

Special Shipping Requests

Special shipping requests may be submitted during checkout or sent to hello@lacausa.com.

Special requests are not guaranteed unless confirmed by us in writing.

Shipping Delays and Cancellations

If we cannot ship an order within the promised time, we will provide any notice, cancellation option, or refund required by applicable law.

If you no longer wish to wait for a delayed order, contact: hello@lacausa.com

An order that has already shipped generally cannot be canceled and must be handled according to our Return and Refund Policy.
